7 Easy Make Ahead Jar Meals

7 Make Ahead Jar Meals

I created these make ahead jar meal recipes for easy instant savoury breakfasts (I really don't like a lot of typical breakfast foods - b/c I don't really enjoy sweet for breakfast - and I get tired of eggs).

But YOU don't have to have them for breakfast, they are great for take away lunches or lazy suppers too!

Sometimes I hear from people that they can't get themselves to eat healthy and don't believe they could lose weight naturally without dieting - because they don't like cooking.

You don't h…

Sugar Free Coconut Chocolate Bars

Coconut Choc Bars

This recipe was inspired by the desire to create more affordable homemade chocolate bars since cocoa butter has become very pricey these days. Not to mention, we need more alternatives to commercial sugar free chocolate bars that are made with modified milk ingredients, isomalt, dextrin and maltitol which can cause gas and bloating.

What you will need:

¼ cup plant based milk alternative
⅓ cup coconut oil
1 box creamed coconut
2 Tbsp to ¼ cup powdered erythritol
⅛ tsp unrefined salt

How to do it:

Why I almost gave up on weight loss…

pic

If you’ve ever felt like giving up on your weight loss goals, you are not alone. I almost gave up myself - because I was sure that I was already doing everything right - and as a result, I thought there were no other options other than living a life obsessing about calories and exercising myself to exhaustion.

Once I realized that I was obese, I spent at least a year doing nothing about it, because I didn’t understand why I was overweight. After all I was “doing everything right”.

In order to get …

Microdosing Ozempic -  Are semiglutide injection drugs like Ozempic natural and do they have a place in weight loss?

photo-1745940369366-330f0159720d

There is a new trend emerging in the alternative medicine field to prescribe semaglutide drugs like Ozempic in micro doses for inflammatory issues: IBD, autoimmunity, metabolic disease and weight loss, but with allegedly less side effects. This practice is considered “off-label” and frowned upon by conventional medicine.

Proponents of microdosing claim that we shouldn’t be afraid to use these drugs in small doses, since peptides are “just” parts of protein that already exist naturally in our bo…

Healthy Homemade Margarine

IMG_1384

Healthy and margarine in the same sentence? I know! How could it be so? Well, I ran out of butter, so I made this and it was delish! Make this if you wish butter could be spreadable straight out of the fridge. You don't have to make it vegan either! This is perfect for people who tire of having to keep their butter on the counter, only to lose some of it to rancidity (not to mention it gets sticky on your hands every time you open the package). Or if you have trouble digesting butter or coconut …

Emotional eating is perfectly natural since it begins at the breast.

When you eat in connection with others, the love hormone oxytocin is released.

Not to mention, food is made of chemicals and those chemicals (nutrients, enzymes etc.) are the building blocks and co-enzymes for your “feel-good neurotransmitters”.

Since food is sooooooo highly intertwined with our feelings, we go to food when we can’t get the connection.

That’s why when you are in a funk or have low energy, …

Blissfully Binging

401851100_10159583390516723_7760659989615230442_n

Willpower is not something I focus on at all when it comes to healthy eating and weight loss.

Why?

Because suppressed and repressed desires and emotions and a lack of pleasure and love are the cause of emotional eating in the first place.

Any attempt to exercise willpower only makes things worse, because willpower IS suppression.

My approach to emotional eating is to first stop taking on the identity of being an emotional eater and to then stop “trying” not to be one.

Instead meet yourself where …
