The one thing 97% of dieters won't do to lose weight
There is a reason 97% of dieters fail.
The reason is obvious.
They fail to stick to the diet.
Hold on, hold on.
It's not because they are lazy and undisciplined, it's because weight loss diets are designed to be done for a temporary time period.
They are not by design for permanent results.
Think about it:
- If you don't already go to the gym and love it, how long do you think you can force yourself to do it?
- How long can you really live on 1000 calories or less a day, before you freak…
Carbs - good, bad, ugly?

I starved myself to fit into my grad dress.
This first photo of me is after having starved myself down for grad.
The second photo is at some kind of community event soon after having gained back about 15lbs.
I still remember feeling especially not good about myself that day - ashamed to be seen …
When your toddler says she's fat.
I was chatting with a lady yesterday about young girls and body image and how she had heard that my daughters dance school was well known for being a place with zero tolerance of body shaming or pressuring dancers to be a certain size.
As the mother of a thirteen year old, I was really glad to hear that my daughter's dance school had this reputation. And yet that hasn't stopped her from feeling the internal and peer pressure of wanting to be thinner.
It made me think back to a few years ago wh…
Want to specialize in weight loss?
Even before I specialized in weight loss (my back-round is in prenatal and gut health), the majority of my clients stated that weight loss was one of their goals in working together.
That was easy for me to help them with because gut healing diets heal the liver and the gut leading to the release of weight.
Even my clients who hadn't mentioned that they wanted to lose weight were always pleasantly surpris…
